Seismic Data from Past Acquisition might be only available in hardcopy or image format. To be processed and interpreted, Seismic Data must be digitized into SEGY format. This digitization activity is called Seismic Vectorization
Pseudo 3D Seismic
Converting 2D seismic data into Pseudo 3D seismic cube provides advantages to obtain integrated understanding of subsurface. One by one analysis of 2D seismic data is led to mislead, besides it is time consuming tasks compared to analysis of single seismic cube. Sample of amplitudes in the entire 2D seismic data are used as ‘seeds points’ to be populated in the defined seismic 3D layout by leveraging robust geo-statistical method guided by seismic horizon.
