West Java Basin is one of the major oil and gas producer sedimentary basins in Indonesia. The first oil and gas drilling in Java was done in this area back in 1871. This field trip invites the participants to visit the rock formations that make up the East Java Basin whose become a key element of the growing petroleum system.

- Geotourism: Guci hot spring tour

- Observation and discussion on the Tapak formation in Songgom, Halang formation in Malahayu Dam, limestone complex in Kromong
- Geotourism: Cirebon culinary and city tour

Petroleum Geology of Northwest Java Basin Field Trip is set for Geologist, Geophysicist, Petrophysic, Engineers who are interested to know the Petroleum Geology in Northwest Java Basin
Field trip leader is academician with PhD in Geology from Departemen Teknik Geologi Universitas Gadjah Mada
Every month from January – December based on the minimum participants quota (minimum 15 participants). The training will be delivered in field trip from Kebumen to Cirebon, Indonesia. The accommodation during the course are included: free B/L/D during the course, field trip gears, insurance, geotourism and city tour
