Deterministic & Stochastic Seismic Inversion Techniques Applied to Reservoir Characterization
The Deterministic & Stochastic Seismic Inversion Techniques Applied to Reservoir Characterization training program is designed to provide geoscience and reservoir professionals with a comprehensive understanding of advanced seismic inversion methodologies used to enhance subsurface reservoir interpretation. The course introduces the principles and workflows of both deterministic and stochastic inversion techniques, enabling participants to transform seismic reflection data into quantitative rock property models such as acoustic impedance, elastic parameters, and reservoir distribution. Through integrated case studies and practical examples, participants will learn how to incorporate well log data, rock physics relationships, and seismic attributes to reduce uncertainty and improve reservoir prediction. This training emphasizes the application of inversion results for reservoir characterization, including lithology discrimination, fluid indication, and stratigraphic interpretation, ultimately supporting more reliable exploration, development planning, and reservoir management decisions.
