Integrated Training

Integrated Static-Dynamic Reservoir Modeling: Exploring Stepout & Interfield Potential

Objectives

This 4-day course aims to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of
integrated reservoir modeling. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Grasp the fundamentals of static and dynamic reservoir modeling.
  • Analyze lithology and rock types, focusing on clastics and carbonates.
  • Evaluate exploration tail and stepout opportunities using interfield assessment
    techniques.
  • Quantify risks and uncertainties in stepout plays.
  • Apply dynamic simulation for forecasting and development planning.
  • Integrate theoretical knowledge into hands-on modeling through team-based case
    studies.
  • Develop practical strategies to unlock potential in overlooked or mature fields.

Instructor

Our trainer specializes in carbonate reservoir characterization, diagenesis, and fractured reservoir modeling with 30 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. He has led exploration and development projects for major oil companies in Indonesia, focusing on seismic interpretation, reservoir modeling, and geological risk assessment. His expertise extends to carbonate sedimentology, fracture network analysis, and reservoir simulation, helping optimize field development. Currently a Senior Lecturer at Universitas Pertamina, Dr. Alit provides industry-leading insights into reservoir evaluation and hydrocarbon potential for maximizing recovery.
