Participants will learn how to acquire and process DOM datasets using UAV photogrammetry and LiDAR, including techniques for cleaning, georeferencing, and handling vegetation cover. The course emphasizes the integration of field-based structural measurements, such as strike and dip, with DOM-based interpretations to build accurate geological models. Through hands-on sessions, participants will practice lineament extraction, fault and fracture tracing, and continuity analysis across complex outcrop surfaces. They will also develop competence in grouping fractures into sets and performing statistical analysis to quantify orientation, spacing, intensity, and density. Visualization techniques, including stereonet and rose diagram plotting, will be taught to enhance interpretation.
