Jenis batuan ini menjadi salah satu elemen paling krusial dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya alam.<\/p><p>Batuan sedimen tersebar luas dan menutupi sekitar 73% permukaan bumi. Hal ini menjadikan hampir seluruh penemuan hidrokarbon berada pada batuan sedimen.
